Austin Twilight

I've decided to blow this big frozen banana stand we (I) call Indianapolis and head for warmer pastures in Austin, TX. As a precursor to my move, I'm gonna be playing SXSW as a guest guitarist with the fabulous Dead Beats, and checking out the scene. But have no fear!! This is not the end for The Last Domino. Quite the opposite, in fact. My plan right now is to release When Elephants... in October just before I leave, then reform the full band down in Austin for Two Thirds Of Our Lives.

I honestly want to bear hug every single person in Indy who has supported/inspired/helped me in any way with my music and my life these past five years. God, has it been that long since I started this project? Well it's been one hell of a half-decade! Here's to more of them!!

The Elephants And Skeletons Come Out To Play

THE ALBUM RELEASE SHOWS ARE SET!! 10/8 & 10/9 will be the big nights at Locals Only and ES Jungle, respectively. I'll be posting some working demos on Reverbnation as they come along, so check back from time to time! I may also have the whole album up for streaming on there in the weeks leading up to the release, but if it's anything like Diamond Days was, I'll be picking up the finished product on the way to the shows.

On The Cover Of A Rolling...Nuvo

A few local musicians and I got together to recreate the cover of The Beatles' Help! album for NUVO Magazine's cover story on Tonic Ball 9! Be sure to pick up an issue to find out all about the show & the cause, or check out the details and full lineup here. Huge thanks to Nora Spitznogle, Scott Shoger, Jim Poyser, Beth Belange, and Stephen Simonetto for getting me in on the photo/show action! As of right now, I'm thinking I'll do a loopcrafted rendition of "Within You Without You" for the show...

My Life Has Been Extraordinary

The "Muzzle" video is finished! Filmed just two weeks ago by my cohort, Matthew Alson Thornbury, the Smashing Pumpkins cover has already been viewed over 6,000 times on YouTube, and has been promoted by Billy Corgan and The Smashing Pumpkins themselves! I've wanted to make this video since recording the track for Diamond Days back in '08, and could not possibly be happier with it nor more flattered by its reception. THANK YOU ALL!!!
